There is a great misunderstanding of what a Christian preaches. We actually do not expect anyone to live up to the laws in the Bible.

We know that no one can live up to the laws in the Bible.That is why we need a Savior.


"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified." 
2 Corinthians 5:21;  Hebrews 10:14;

"Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word," 
(the church means all believers) 
Ephesians 5:25-26

    When Jesus was teaching he was still using the law to point to the cross. Separating Law and Gospel is one way we "rightly divide the word".
